Weber won't get suspended and the Wings won't do anything about it, because Babcock and Holland instruct their team not to fight and make sure we don't have the personnel for it in case some dickhead rams our star player's head into the boards.
Sick of everything.
And so much for us making a push for Weber next season.

So exhausted trying to explain/give excuses why the Wings can't just freakin win. Can we get a 2011 Game 4 vs San Jose effort on Friday night....PLEASE?

I actually think we played pretty well for the last two periods. We carried the play and got a lot of scoring opportunities. They got some lucky bounces. Thats just the way it goes sometimes. I guarantee if we play like that again, we will win more times than not.

I guess the fact that the teams put forth equal efforts tonight is inadequate to you. Believe it or not, a loss does not mean that the team completely sucked. Sometimes a team plays a good game but doesn't get the bounces.

Hey at least cleary wasnt a complete liability out there tonight. Wonder what the after effects of playing with his injury will be going into next season

Because a player might be reading the message board and decide to go out and do it?And if a hockey message board wanted to have any credibility it would discipline any poster(s) calling for players to purposely injure other players.
It was a tough pass. Catching it and converting on a pass like that is what separates a true goal scorer with a 2nd and 3rd liner like Cleary. Can missing bumbling up an empty net on a 2 on 1 be blamed on his knee?

Weber should be out for the next game.
And I won't give the Preds credit tonight Strader, they got two flukey goals. That, to me, was the only difference in the game.

You clearly didn't watch the game so I would recommend that you look at the shot totals and maybe read some game stories."good try boys?????" are you serious??? just check the pens Flyers game that's a GOODf****** try, wings sucked the entire game and please bring Branstrom back take this little f*** emerton out.
Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".

Finally some damn positivity. Losing game one is completely expendable. The Wings simply had a bad 1st period but picked things up after that. We'll see how many games that ****** Weber gets and the Wings will take advantage. Winning game 2 could turn around the entire series.

I saw a good effort tonight. I saw two Nashville goals that got the lucky bounce and went in. Good for them, bad for us. But they were quirky goals. Great when they happen but you can't pay the mortgage with them. The Wings held their top guys in check. The Wings scored two powerplay goals from frontline PP guys. Play a little smarter on the walls and watch those passes back behind the net, clean up the lazy penalties and I'd say the Wings have a great shot at game 2.
It's not a series until you lose your first home game.
Does anyone know, are the Predator fans chanting "It's all your fault, it's all your fault" at Howard at some point after a goal? I used to do that at University of Michigan games in the late 80's when Denny Felsner and Aaron Ward were cutting their teeth. Cripes, get an original cheer Nashvillle.

Wings didn't play to their potential but also they weren't awful. Howard had a solid game he was just unlucky as was Detroit in general in that game.
Few things:
Don't need Emmerton on the ice ever again, Nyquist needs to be in the lineup.
Ericsson or Quincey out for Smith. Don't care which one really.
Oh and the Shea Weber situation, I hope he is not suspended so the Wings have some motivation.
WINGS IN 6... Count it

I want Bertuzzi to paralyze that motherf***er Weber.

And I want his kids sitting in the front row to see it.

Not sure what you've been watching but Ericsson was one of the best players on the ice tonight, especially defensively speaking. And he's been progressively getting better with each game.
