I think Radulov lifted his skate up on purpose. Nobody's leg comes up like that on that weak of a hit.

Man talk about bad luck for the Wings in the first game.

I guess things can only get better, right?

Tape that s*** up and get him back on the ice. Helm without a stick is still more effective than Emmerton.

Poor guy. I miss him already..

slightly off topic, but does anyone regret having Kris Draper retire? after our top two guys (or 3 counting Val), he was better the last two years than anyone that we have now.

Nyquist skating on 3rd line with Abdelkader and Cleary. Miller moved to 4th line with Emmerton and Holmstrom.

This sucks...
Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

I'm pretty sure this team has a drinking problem.

Babcock says that Gustav Nyquist will be slotted in the lineup for Helm.

Oh man, poor guy can't get a break. :( He just came back and is out again.

He'll be missed, hopefully he recovers well and can come back for next year, and hopefully the Wings come out with some extra fire under their asses tomorrow. Win it for Helmer!

Helm is one of my favorite Wings. It's gonna suck watching the Nashville games.

This ridiculous slew of injuries - they must be playing under the influence.

Maybe they should slide Fil down to centre that third line? Datsyuk, Z, Fil, Emmerton. This frees up Abdelkader to play the wing and thus be a more aggressive and effective winger.

Yikes. When are they going to start taking precautions to prevent this type of injury with some extra paddin/equipment. We've seen alot of it recently. Shame for Helm, and the Wings. He's a key part of this team IMO.

This sucks! I really hope his recovery goes well and he's all set to go in the fall. Until then, the Wings need to use this as motivation to win for him, he worked hard to get back for his team.

Thanks Offsides
