I really wanted Weber on our team. But in my eyes he's become one of the type of players I do not respect. Any supposed "star" who makes a career out of flopping, flailing, diving, overreacting (ala Forsberg) is a loser in my book. His head jerk when Franzen hit him was nothing short of bad acting. And then the double hit on Zetterberg was sickening. Here was a player totally out of control, WITH INTENT TO INJURE. He.is.nothing.but.a.loser. I hope the NHL shows some balls and nails him.

Im sorry to say, but you're going to be disappointed. I would bet just about anything that the NHL doesnt discipline what so ever

If no suspension, I guess this sets the bar then huh? So we should expect no suspension when Bert does the same thing to Weber or Suter at the end of game 2 right? Right?

Or maybe since the NHL is saying that wrestling moves are OK, maybe Hudler can break out some of that offseason MMA training & get Weber in an omoplata or guillotine choke & see what happens.

So, let me get this straight...

If you say something bad about the Pittsburgh Penguins: $20,000 fine.
If you deliberately slam an opposing player's head into the glass: $2,500 fine.

I think somebody is going to learn the meaning of "Kronwalled" tomorrow. This is a disgrace. A deliberate face smash into the glass is not a suspendable act? Weber definitely has a target on his back, and hopefully that will make him a little jumpy next game and throw him off.

Edit: Thanks for the clarification, I thought it was $10,000 for Torts but that was a guess from a LGW member. Actual fine was $20,000.
