You said I wasnt a bandwagoneer but you did call a kid one because they enrolled on this board after they won in 08.

The CORRELATION is that if I was having this conversation when I was 18 I would have been called a bandwagoneer because of my age and when the Wings had last won the cup.

THAT IS THE CORRELATION.

Now on to you. You didnt seem to comprehend that when you said that I wasnt a bandwagoneer.

There for I said CORRELATION is a word with TWO TOO MANY CONSONANTS. That means it was a long word with TWO MORE CONSONANTS than you can comprehend and had nothing to do with the word itself. It only meens that you seemingly cant engage in even semi-intelligent conversation which proved my original point.

Ok look I completely understood the word correlation and it's relevance to your sentence. I know where you were going with the word correlation. That has been addressed.

I'm telling you that by saying two too many consonants that you are sounding ignorant.

You could've saved yourself a lot of time and actually been off the hook had you said the word was just too big. Too many syllables or too many letters. Instead you narrowed it down to consonants and frankly came off silly in doing so.

It's ok though. The original point stands. I didn't call you a bandwagon fan and just because I used a join date for a kid in calling him one doesn't mean you were dragged in with him. Next time try to focus on things I say if they have your name in them

So Wings fans can't still be mad at Weber for something he did 2 games ago, but Preds fans are getting pissy about Bertuzzi taking a ping pong table away? Johnny Cochran says that just doesn't make sense.

Also to add what's the difference between Wings fans playing the we have more cups then you card and fans of other teams playing the if you're a Wings fan you are probably a bandwagoner.

Also didn't Rinne (isn't he supposedly better then Howard) get Sniped by Emmerton? If he can do it then the other Wings should have no problem doing it. See I can play that game too

Now I know you'll probably comment on my joined date so lets get that out of the way. I'm not a big fan of forums too many idiots and whiners so I was slow to join this site when I learned about it.

Does my date coincide with me being a bandwagoner? Nope, I've like the Wings since 92 (I was 7) they were involved in the first game I ever watched on TV and I picked them because I liked the color red. Doesn't make me a bandwagoner? No, that makes me a kid who picked his team based on the color jersey they had.

Now that that's out of the way, I've noticed your joined date, why didn't you join the forums the last 2 times the Wings and Preds played in the post season? Now I won't accuse you of being a bandwagoner, partially due to the fact you guys just barely won your first playoff series but I will say I'd wager you joined so you could rile up us Wings fans, because now you feel confident with that first series win and the fact you finished higher in the standings this year.

With all that said I think what Bert did was funny.

First off let me say this: I like to post on here, I try to daily because it's a good site for all things Red Wings, yet more than posting on here I like to pick apart people's incompetence... so I shall begin.

You guys need to learn the meaning to words before you erroneously throw them around.

I have done no such thing. I'm commenting on the topic of Baby Bertuzzi allegedly pulling this little stunt. Then commenting on how thrilled you guys get over it when you should be worrying how you're going to get pucks past Pekka Rinne and convince Howard to actually stop a few.

First of all, I'll agree you came in on topic and didn't troll. Then you proceeded to troll. This post isn't about Rinne and Howard ∴ trolling - this is indeed trolling as well because you could barely stick a cigarette paper between the two. Rinne has given up 7 goals, Howard 8. They've both made good saves but have been fairly average.

Oh and please keep being original and telling me how I have sexual relations with sheep, live in Hickville oh and ever so fresh "We have more cups than you" jab that is universally known as the Bandwagon Red Wings insult.

It has become apparent in the world of hockey "fandom" that Red Wings fans can't accept anything negative about their team.

I was told yesterday in this forum's very chat room that Nashville won game 3 because of the refs and because we were "goons."

1)Home ice hasn't been all it's cracked up to be, not just this series but ever series. It's yet to be seen whether that's a game-breaker.
2)You've obviously not been on this forum long enough if you think "Red Wings fans can't accept anything negative about their team". Obviously never seen the '[name] is lazy and he sucks' topics.
3)Tell me, in all honesty, that no Nashville fan has ever said the refs cost them a game. It's sports.

Yeah but guess what...they don't! They are a little more classy and tend not to use winning something in the past as a CURRENT reference to their team.

The bad thing is the majority of Red Wings fans who throw that stat out there have not been alive for more than the most recent 4, yet live off the others like they were in some guys testicles wearing a Gordie Howe jersey.

I just find it silly to resort (when losing a battle of wits) to bringing up things that happened 20+ years prior to my birth.

This is illogical. No one in here mentioned winning cups in the 50s. They said we've won more. Which is both true and fair. If forced to be specific, most fans here WOULD simply mention the 4 since '97 as they're the ones they were lucky enough to see. What's more, they can still talk only about the ones they were alive for and the fact "we've won more" would still ring true.

ANYBODY on the Red Wings could score on the Preds and it wouldn't hold a candle to KEVIN KLEIN putting a move on your defenders and going shelf on Jimmy Howard. I think all of us hicks down here in Nashville spit our dip all over the screen when that happened. I know we had a good laugh about it. "Hell if Kleiner is scoring then I know we got this series in the bag" was one of my favorite quotes from the viewing party.

I have NEVER dismissed the fact they have a history of excellence eras.

11 Cups is a nice stat for a team, and apparently for a fan to toss around like a used hooker.

Nashville has no Western Conference Titles, Division Titles or Stanley Cups but I hardly hold those stats against them when referencing their current and past talents. Let's be real here the Red Wings have been around what... 86 years vs the Predators 14. It's not exactly fair to compare in that essence. Stop playing hockey for 72 more years then let's compare our team's accolades. Until then stop riding the high horse of a franchise that did most of that before 95% of you were even thought about.

That's what truly makes you look dumb IMHO.

I only managed to get to this point in your posting before I had to reply. You're contradictory, and your arguments are fueled by anger, which means you post without thinking. This leads not only to fragmented arguments that can be shot down rather easily, but also IDIOCY.

Like I said on the Predators board I frequent we are having civil conversations with Wings fans and not one name has been called. So if anyone is Hostile I'm sorry to inform you it's the Red Wings fans on this site. At least the ones I've encountered.

I think it's a little naive to say the Red Wings fans on this site are all hostile. Some may get heated in argument but that will pass and I'm sure you'll have opportunities to have good conversations with them at some point when The Wings and Preds aren't battling it out for a first round victory. As for those in the chat, they were probably just annoyed that the team they love lost. Everyone reacts differently.

In fairness, I think you eventually grasped what was happening with this, but what you were thinking of here ^ was most likely 'syllables'. Easy mistake to make.

I mention these two because they are trolling. Plain and simple. It's sometimes nice to have a bit of a discussion with someone, but they're way off the topic of Bert's mindgames. It was funny, and an attempt to make the Nashville players feel uncomfortable about the game at the Joe tonight. I'd expect Preds players to do the same as lets face it, sports teams aren't out to make their home an enjoyable place to come and play. Bert making it a fortress (what they like to say over here about silly soccer teams grrr I hate when they say that but it's apt).

Really do hope you stick around though as I'm sure you really do like to talk hockey, and that's good in my books

i don't see a thing wrong with the preds using the red wings ping pong table,it was siting in between of the red wings locker room and the visitors locker room,if the red wings did not want the preds to use the table than they should of put it away,so nobody would think it was siting there for anybody to use.
