What are the odds of winning this series now?

I tried looking around online, couldn't find anything. What are the chances of winning the series after being down 3-1? It can't be as bad as the Pen(i)'s situation, but I doubt it's very high.

Thanks

It's not zero, but it's pretty damn close. They did win 3 straight and almost 4 last year. Do I think this team can do it? Yes. Do I think they will? No.

Zero.

We just dont have anything this year. Sad but true.

Thanks, not looking for anyone's opinion here. I should have made that clear. I am just wondering if anyone has the numbers. Obviously it ain't 0-0.

Not gona happen ... our replacement for our 50 point Olympic calibre dman Rafalski was Ian "the suitcase" White. Stuart is preoccuppied with his wife's parole restriction and Howard hasnt been the same guy since he broke his finger in Vancouver. Id like to punch Ken Holland in the gut for standing pat at the deadline when it really looked like we had the opportunity to add a piece or two of dependable size/grit that would help this bunch. We havent been scoring but its not for lack of chances or shots - just bad luck and great goaltending. Defensive gaffes after stretches of dominating the play (as usual) is whats killing us. Im glad I had half a dozen beers with dinner/the game, I should be able to pass out quickly tonight.

I get super frustrated after a regular season loss to Columbus but im very calm right now, Wings will find that scoring touch and come back to win this.

I dont think the wings could have played a better first 2 periods. only allowed 10 shots against and had 28.

I say 5%

Send an email to James duthie at TSN he's full of stats like that.

I think the chances are slim but ... There's always a story to be told in the playoffs

I was thinking the same thing earlier 8 Legged....so you're telling me there's a chance! Oh man, I feel so delusional right now.

the chances of us progressing into the next round are about they same as Holland making some major moves this off-season!

LOL, thanks for some funny replies. But thanks even more to the couple of clear, intelligent responses to the original question. 44-3...well, we've already made history once this year, here's to keeping it rolling with a round 1 comeback series win!

LET'S GO RED WINGS!

We can still limit Nashville to fewer than 3 goals. We just don't have the goal scoring from the past two years to get it done. Parise, Semin, whatever needs to be brought in this offseason.

Low. With the current version of the Red Wings I would be surprised if they score more than 1 goal in NSH.

8.7% of the time, teams have came back from being down 3-1. Link: Chance of winning. So out of 229 times, only 20 have come back.

I think this was what the OP was really asking for, numerical odds. Thanks for posting up the link.
