Top line center gets blasted on any other team when you average half a goal for 5 games

Babcock has known this team is flawed for years. You can hear him hint at it and show some frustration by the lack of action from management.

I don't agree with anyone that says Babcock needs to go. He has some flaws for sure, but he's a hell of a coach and could do damage with a team better constructed.

Holland is entering a make or break summer. "We like our team" after three early exits will not be acceptable to anyone. It shouldn't have been two straight years, but he has to come out aggressive for once. He already wasted the end of Nick's career and Pavel and Z are not exactly young either.

I really REALLY hope Holland FINALLY makes these changes that are needed! I hope he shows us all that he is a great GM and acquires the talent that this team needs. No longer can you keep the likes of Franzen or Cleary. Make changes Kenny, make changes...

Oh my god, its actually getting worse... Your logic is baffling. So Datsyuk should have just gotten out of Franzen the sniper's way and its his fault the Wings didn't score?

I'd explain to you have Datsyuk being the only one who even skates on the line does not bode well, or maybe point out the fact that all series Datsyuk has seen hard minutes fighting for pucks along the boards against two or more Nashville players while his wingers are floating on the opposite faceoff dot, or at the very least show you Franzen's past two playoff performances compared to his top-line minutes and lucrative contract, but I can tell you've watched the 2008 Stanley Cup DVD too recently, so I'll save my energy

Too much trying for the pretty goal. Should have been quite clear after 3 games, that We were struggling with goals, we should have been trying for the ugly goal, just firing everything at the net.

Seriously can we get a PP coach please? One good thing about this was our PK was outstanding.

It's so disappointing to wait 82 games for the best hockey of the year, which is playoff hockey, and then my team gets thrashed in the first round and goes down in 5.

Hoping we do the right thing this summer, and let Homer and Stuart go, and splash the cash on Parise and/or Suter.

Lidstrom obviously is free to do what he wants, he's earned that right. Would be nice if he comes back to get a bit of a discount on his current salary.
