Does Filp think he's Barry Sanders across the middle? Can that guy know how to dump and chase?

This is the way it is then.

All I gotta say is that if Lidstrom retires this season, HOLLAND, YOU BETTER OWN UP TO YOUR PROMISE. "If Lidstrom retires, so will I"

"Hit em with your purse, ya *****!" - Random Wings fans shouting at Franziska

So if Pittsburgh hangs on and this s***show plays out, the Wings are the first team to go home. That's what a historic home streak and enough cap space to acquire just about any contract in the league gets you.

Well played Holland, well played...

Well, at least I'll have more free time to play Mass Effect 2.

There's always baseball season. Of course, if I were you, I'd put your eggs in the Tigers' basket rather than Boston's. They're a bit s***ty right now. Well, more than a bit, but I'm trying to be nice.

If I'm Hank, I tell the team to take their "C" and shove it where the sun don't shine.

This. Unfortunately.
Don't take it from fans on LGW, take it from his peers. NHL players have spoken and they think Tootoo is the dirtiest player in the league.

Get a clue already.

Would it be improper for Ilitch to fire Holland tomorrow? I mean literally tomorrow.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Flyers blow it again. Reminds me of when Dallas gave us that scare in...2008, was it?

Brad Stuart has been on the ice for 9 of the 13 goals scored by Nashville. That's 69% of the opposition's goals. That is INEXCUSEABLE! I'll be so glad when this clown plays on another team next year.

Stuart -6 this series. What a crock of s***

Stuart has been a huge disappointment. You can tell his mind is not with the wings. Glad he's going.

Franzen on the 4th line in an elimination game.

"Wait until the playoffs start."

I was just gonna say, that it is so nice to see Franzen on a line where he belongs. Where is "Playoff" Franzen? Oh, we're watching him...

Laugh it up, delete it all, I'll be laughing when it happens! -4/17/14

HOW DO YOU DO IT?

A combination of having become a Wings fan in '83 when I saw my first live NHL game (those Wings teams sucked), having copious amounts of patience (YOU try getting 73 7th and 8th graders to sing daily ;) ), and a generous pour of the Macallan into a lowball glass.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

This. Unfortunately.

The Red Wings treat their captains worse than North Korea treats its citizens. Sweat and bleed for this team, and we'll send you out like af****** chump.
