Never got sucked into WoW. My old clan from RTCW and RTCW:ET switched over to WoW but I dropped out, and retired from gaming for several years. I got back into the consoles with my stepsons a couple years ago and switched to XboxOne in June. I'm doing zombies in BlopsIII and some MP, waiting for the DLC to drop for Fallout 4, and playing through an NHL16 season intermittently.

All I really want is to play more Witcher 3. I might have to put down my hatred of DLC's and get both packs (2nd one isn't out yet)

That really was a fantastic game, I too never played the DLCs. I'm looking forward to Cyberpunk from the same developer.

I'm currently playing Tom Clancy's The Division, and as usual, managing a team in League Gaming for NHL 16. We started the season 14-4-0.

How is The Division? I have been considering getting it, but don't want to rely on going into the Dark Zone depending on randoms to not screw me over. Am I overthinking it? I do tend to do more solo than co-op.

It might be the most fun i've had with a game this gen, and I didn't even preorder it or buy it day one, I was pressured into it by friends and i'm so glad I did. We can always pull you in our group some night if we have room to do Dark Zone stuff, like with any online MMO type of game like this, there's always the risk of being screwed over by randoms. It's better to go in with people you know and trust. It won't ruin the game or the experience though in my opinion if you go at it solo, just don't expect it to be friendly and people to show good sportsmanship, it's a cut throat game type.

Cyberpunk does sound like a great game. I've always wanted an open world game set in the future. Blade Runner type stuff.

Mabus, I picked up The Division and I'm liking it. I'm at level 13 in the story soloing all the way, and did ok soloing in the dark zone for a bit, though I did run into a couple guys and we started working together for a bit.

Has anyone played the Fallout 4 DLC yet? I have it but didn't fire it up yet. I'm level 85 in Fallout 4 and think I'm going to max my robotics perk before I run through it.

Yeah I got the DLC but haven't played too far into it yet, just a couple missions. The ability to create your own robot companion is a really cool feature.

I'm about a level 10 in The Division so far as well, i've been working so much that I haven't played as much as i'd like to but still really dig the game for sure.

Not right now but am in the process of building a computer to play.

Add me if you want when you are done with building it. I play CS:GO casually from time to time. (Usually during holidays/breaks)

I think I'm going to give Dark Souls III a try next week. Never played any of that series before, but I'm intrigued by it.

I showed a trailer of the game to my wife. Her response was "What's the point of this game?"

My response? "Dying. A Lot."

I played the first one, it was an absolutely brilliant RPG but ridiculously difficult. I easily died 2000+ times in my first playthrough, it's unforgiving and brutal, yet rewarding and addictive at the same time. Stick with it, but be prepared to progress very slow.

I've talked to a couple people who suggest that site. I have no idea what I am doing ha.

I will be for sure!

Living in a condo with 3 lil'dudes it's tough to have a desktop (limited space, and not wanting them to occupy it all day) so I went with a good quality laptop that'll also accompany me when I work 3rd shift every weekend (if it's quiet I can play some WoW).

I know most frown upon using a laptop - however I cannot imagine not having one.

If ya need any advice on a laptop - just let me know - even though I'm no expert, but I feel I know enough that I can give my dos pesos.

I also play on a lap top, so I'd like to know. Here you go...

Honestly - I feel any 15.6", or 17.3" laptop by ASUS (my preferred choice), or MSI are solid choices.

Depending on what options (backlit keyboard, or an SSD for example) - you can expect to spend roughly $800 to $1200 for a quality gaming laptop.

NewEgg, XOTIC PC, and Amazon are good places to shop.

I feel like buying a laptop specifically for gaming is a waste of money, you can get a beast desktop pc for that and get way better hardware. I hook my laptop to my tv screen and use a mouse and keyboard, I love the fact I can take it anywhere and play, I Still need a wired 360 controller to play some steam games.

Once you go desktop you can't go back to laptop.

I owned a gaming laptop when I was in undergrad - gamed on it and took it to school for school work etc.

Then I graduated and built my own PC that summer and holy s*** is it a different world with desktop gaming.
