Those of us who have jobs tend to do what we like on our days off. Of course for most of us, it's cleaning and chores around the house, but we do get to have whatever fun we like. If they want to play hockey on their days off, that's their prerogative.Wish the Red Wings would REST instead. This is crap. There are only so many games in a hockey player's legs.
Sure, they might injure themselves, but they might injure themselves doing a lot of things.
Heck, if we choose to play hockey on our days off, we could get injured and there's nothing our bosses can say about it.
They work harder (physically) in a season than most of us will do at work in a lifetime. Let them have their days off.

Thanks for a great season, guys. You exceeded expectations and have given us something to look forward to as the long summer approaches.
And next year we get to start in October, like hockey is SUPPOSED to.
