Go Knights Go!
It looks like any team will have to go through St. John, again, especially since they went 16-1 in their playoff games this season.

I have a question for the Canadian posters who follow this format.

How much criticism is there in Canada of having a host team automatically get into the Final Four? Sounds pretty idiotic to me.

I mean, how does that host team even take the rest of the season seriously?
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

The host team wants to play well, especially in front of their home fans. There's even been one case where the team was so bad, they didn't use their spot and allowed another team in (Hamilton, 1990). I personally don't have a problem with it; anything is possible.

Agreed. Can't wait to see the Sea Dogs again. I was hoping they'd be back again this year. Huberdeau is great to watch too. Kind of reminds me off Matt Duchene. Good smart player.

I think the Oil Kings will win the Memorial Cup, even though I've moved out east and haven't been able to see them. They were so bad the last few years they've stockpiled top talent. I'd rather see London win though.

Good first period. I'm really glad to see to wearing of poppies, a visual reminder of what the trophy represents and stands for.

3-2 Oil Kings midway third. Should be 3-1 but they (refs) allowed a really sketchy goal.

Final 4-3 Oil Kings. They trade goals in the last 10 of the third. Brutal turnover by the Oil Kings leads to a goal. Minutes later, the Oil Kings get it right back with a nice passing play.

I really believe they shouldn't have shown the discussion with the ref and video guy there. Guy was kind of an ass to the ref. And it was confusing too what the final decision was going to be.
