From Sportsnet:

...
"Hopefully, I'll find an NHL team," the Russian veteran told the paper. "The preference is always going to be a team I've played on because you know the environment.

"And I'd definitely like to come back to Montreal. They're all about the young guys, but I can help in all different ways. And I can still play. I have a lot of energy."
...

In the category "Best Stand-Up Routine by a Russian Since Yakov Smirnoff", the award goes to...

"Mess up tomorrow, don't mess up now".

From TSN:

Count Jaromir Jagr among the names that will be available on the open market on July 1.

TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reported via Twitter on Monday that while the 40-year-old winger enjoyed his stint with the Phildelphia Flyers last season, he plans on testing free agency.

J. Staal, Douglas Murray, and Rick Nash all on the market, and teams are taking offers.
Harding in negotiations with Minny, expected to sign there.
PK Subban included in deal to get Oiler's first overall, but doubt EDM will do it.

That would be absolute robbery for CBJ if that trade occurred. Glen Sather would likely be run out of town by an armed mob.

From http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=398905:

The Montreal Canadiens aren't taking any chances on another team extending an offer sheet to Carey Price.

RDS in Quebec reports that the club has filed for arbitration with their No. 1 netminder, who was set to become a restricted free agent on July 1.

From http://www.sportsnet...hl_free_agents/:

Brandon Prust's time with the New York Rangers is likely coming to an end as Rangers general manager Glen Sather told the New York Post the team likely won't re-sign the forward.

According to some and surprise surprise the Penguins will be after Suter and Parise too. Much like the whole league but the Penguins do offer more than most clubs as playing with Malkin and Crosby would be something...

If they pull this off, it wouldn't even be fair:

Letang - Suter

Parise as Crosbys Wing holy damn that team would be set for another decade and easily be the team to beat. Looking at cg the Penguins are having like 14,7 million of cap space and still some guys to become UFAs, damnit this will be an absolute beating war for Suter and Parise.

As someone mentioned in another post, they would be like the Blackhawks. All that money tied up in a few players, no depth on the 3rd or 4th lines.

From Sportsnet:

The speculation regarding the fate of Roberto Luongo has heated up in the wake of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft in Pittsburgh, where the league’s general managers, agents and reporters converged en masse.

The latest report regarding the movement of the Vancouver CanucksA-list netminder and his $50-million price tag comes from Columbus Blue Jackets beat reporter Aaron Portzline, who fired off three Luongo-related tweets on Monday morning.

If the Penguins land both of them, I'm going to have a stroke. I can't stand them or their fans already.
