The Red Wings will play eight preseason games against four different opponents leading up to the 2012-13 NHL season, the team announced on Wednesday.

The Wings will play home and away contests against Chicago, Toronto, Pittsburgh and Washington.

The home lineup features all four games in a one week span at Joe Louis Arena, beginning with a Saturday night game against the Blackhawks on Sept. 29, and ending with a Friday night contest with Original Six rival Toronto on Oct. 5.

Fri 9/28 @ Chicago, 8:30pm
Sat 9/29 vs. Chicago, 7pm
Sun 9/30 vs. Washington, 5pm
Wed 10/3 vs. Pittsburgh, 7:30pm
Fri 10/5 vs. Toronto, 7:30pm
Sat 10/6 @ Toronto, 7pm
Sun 10/7 @ Washington, 5pm

I have NHL Gamecenter Live subscriber, and I have access to NHL Vault. 4 years of games I can watch plus classic games. I am going to be watching 1 old game per day through the start of the preseason.
