Enjoy, I rarely read a whole lot of articles about anything in-depth these days but this is one is worth taking 10 minutes to look at.

I love how 19 years after it happened, it still eats at him that he felt he was responsible for the Leafs game 7 OT winner in '93. Explains a lot about the man. Great interview.

I'm going to miss Lids so much. So many players (and people in general) could learn a thing or two from the way he speaks. When you're being interviewed about how great you are and you can acknowledge your talent without sounding arrogant, that's pretty great.

Here you are sitting with a guy worth 7 Norris Trophies, 12 Times All Star, 4 Stanley Cups and a in my mind top 3 All Time defenseman and he wants the Wikipedia page containing at first his work ethic including how he came ready to play every game - you can't get more humble than that. I gonna miss this player so much, just pure class...a perfect human.

Will have a hard time not chocking when they raise his number.

I want to do something special with my Lidström jersey any ideas? Thought about buying a glossy red-white border and a nice swedish flag as a background?

Thanks for sharing that, Jack. It was a great read. It's not hard to understand why we as fans are so spoiled when it comes to the players who've donned our sweater over the years. We've had our fair share of bad boys yes, but on the whole.....we've had decent, humble, incredibly awesome guys play their asses off for us 82 games a year.
