I'm not sure if this has been posted here before it is rather old however i found it to be a very good read.
It's datsyuks story. well parts of it. It shows the kind of person he really is and not just the player we see on the ice.

The first time I read it I was in tears. To lose a parent is difficult - I know that first hand. But to lose a parent at 16, which is such a vulnerable age in any condition, has to be devastating. To rise above all this heartache is a testimony to his courage and spirit. He makes me so proud that he's a Red Wing, and I'm even prouder to say that I know him (albeit a little bit). I wonder if I'll get a hug this time at camp???
