Kira 451 Report post Posted June 23, 2012 The first time I read it I was in tears. To lose a parent is difficult - I know that first hand. But to lose a parent at 16, which is such a vulnerable age in any condition, has to be devastating. To rise above all this heartache is a testimony to his courage and spirit. He makes me so proud that he's a Red Wing, and I'm even prouder to say that I know him (albeit a little bit). I wonder if I'll get a hug this time at camp???
