I've noticed that if I do a copy/paste of text from certain websites (especially TSN), the text is shrunken to 8 point. Default on this site is 14 point, correct?

I keep getting an error about posting to fast when trying to make posts. I have to wait 2 hours I think now before I respond to a post.

Minor request:

Can we move the more commonly used smileys (like the LOL one) all the way to the left (or first group) so they're easier to find? For example, you have to click the right arrow 3 or 4 times to get to the LOL smiley. My fingers are tired! :tounge:

The new editor also attempts to copy over the styling code that's associated with the text you copy/paste from a different web site. The byproduct of this, at times, is that the pasted content displays smaller because the code present on the original site conflicts with what is set here (like the default text size).

There are no restrictions or flood control settings applied to your account or your member group, so I'm not sure what's causing the issue.

The  emoticon should be at the front of the list now. Conversely, you can also write in the BB Code for that emoticon by entering the following:

Is there a way to change your username? I see there is an option to see prior names but I'm not finding a way to do it through the settings.

Yes, though only an Admin can do so. PM Matt with your request, and he can take care of it for you.

What's up with the sudden appearance of different "templates", depending on what you're trying ti do?

I know there's been issues copying and pasting from sites, but now when quoting posts, the quote tags don't even appear.  The quoted post is indented and seems to work still, but it's a little hard to keep track of since there's no "[/quote]" tag.

It seems like a recent development.  Not sure if that's the way it's gonna stay or if it's a glitch.

The copy/paste issue seems to be mostly with TSN; sometimes it's alright, other times it's the "long grey line".

I noticed the "quote tag" issue today, but after I did the link/quote for the Glendale story is was fine...that time.

The "template problem" seems to be only when you're not logged in. Before, you could "guest' and the screens were the same in appearance as when you were logged in. Now, so much.

What's with the small blue box with the question mark inside of it next to the "post number"? I think this just showed up.

Also a lot of these:

What's the difference between the 'injured' tags and the red 'injured' label that appears next to topics?  How do I use the red one?  Or can I not?

The red "injured" prefix on a topic has to be assigned by an admin/mod or a designated user group (which is usually secondary and not publicly viewable). The tags are just what you say they are -- the ability to add them is designated by member groups after a trial run that left it open to anyone (and all that resulted in was mass tag chaos.)

I get an error message every time I try to "like" a post. Has anyone else experienced this?

Good rule of thumb is always take an octopus everywhere. Better to have one and not need it than find yourself thinking, "Damn, I wish I had that octopus".
