Almost 4 mill a year for a guy that hasn't accomplished very much, KHL really inflated his worth.

KHL got Pavelec paid big time. If he doesn't deliver this year, he'll be run out of town. Saw Winnipegs minor league goalie Eddy Pasquale here in St John's this year. He'll be ready for the show in a year, so Pavelec won't be safe for long.

Thankfully for Winnipeg he choose to re-sign and not head over to the KHL. That would really suck for their franchise. I wonder what will happen with E. Kane now?! Agreed its kind of a lot of money for him though, he's nothing special in my opinion, but for the Jets he's most certainly needed.

This guy shouldn't make more than 2.5 million/year. All he has proven is, that he's a diva using the KHL threat.
Monster will outplay him badly.

Kenny is a much tougher negotiator than Chevaldayoff is. I see Jimmy in the 4-4.5 mil a season range depending on the contract length. Plus Jimmy will take a little less to stay here long term. I expect the deal to be done during the season.

It was pretty bad.. crashed his car at an intersection at 10am, while blowing a .2. Luckily it happened in Czech and i dont think his punishment will carry over (20 month driving ban). Pretty shady but seems like him and.big buff are gonna be friends.

This is exactly why you don't sign questionable guys to huge contracts, once they have signed they think, they own the world. Pathetic POS paveliec.

This is summing up my feelings exactly. Even normal guys like us are using a cab to come home safely, but some millionaires can't?
People complained about Kane but at least he didn't risk the well being of others and just had a good time.
If I were a GM thankfully for this guy I am not, I would suspend him.

been waiting for a good opportunity to remind you guys that i blacked out with pavelec one night while he was playing with the chicago wolves. im good buddies with his then roommate. one of the few things i remember was another wolves player slumped over on their front porch puking between his legs.
