No. Just plain hate the guy. Dallas Drake was one thing, but Ott is on a whole 'nother level of sleaze.

Agreed. Don't need his poop penalties and his attitude problem. Try with Babcock what he did with Tippett and he'll be on a 1-way bus ride to GR until he's traded.No on OTT. Not the type we need in the Winged Wheel.
Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.

Something the Wings don't have is that guy that other teams & other teams fans just loathe. A guy that gets under your skin even before he steps on the ice. I wouldn't mind having Ott as that guy on the Wings at all if the price were right. They could use someone that will get the other team off their game again...like a douchier/edgier Maltby like I said before.
Are we considering Holmstrom as not on the team anymore already? There always seemed to be a general consesus of dislike among opposing teams/players when it came to old Homer.

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

I say yes. Partly because my brother is a Stars fan and he hates that Det always signs his favorite players, he just got an Ott jersey a few years ago. The other reason is because I may have seen more Stars games than most people here and yes the guy plays dirty on occasion but I'd say that every time he hurts the team he does 2 good things to help.

Ott has some good qualities as a player, but he's just too big of a weasel for me to want him on the Wings. I don't like the way the guy plays the game.

I'll take Ott, just the kind of gritty player I like. Gets under the other team's skin, isn't afraid to fight and hit, and has a bit of a scoring touch. He's young and teams hate to play against him.
