We have no enforcer to protect him.

Teams would be out to murder him every game. Everyone hates Ott.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

No. Just plain hate the guy. Dallas Drake was one thing, but Ott is on a whole 'nother level of sleaze.

No on OTT. Not the type we need in the Winged Wheel.

Agreed. Don't need his poop penalties and his attitude problem. Try with Babcock what he did with Tippett and he'll be on a 1-way bus ride to GR until he's traded.

Who would you trade for Brendan Morrow and Steve Ott in a package?

Something the Wings don't have is that guy that other teams & other teams fans just loathe. A guy that gets under your skin even before he steps on the ice. I wouldn't mind having Ott as that guy on the Wings at all if the price were right. They could use someone that will get the other team off their game again...like a douchier/edgier Maltby like I said before.

Are we considering Holmstrom as not on the team anymore already? There always seemed to be a general consesus of dislike among opposing teams/players when it came to old Homer.

No.
"It is a lot easier to be an ******* to words than to people"-xkcd

Tootoo does NOT belong on this team. He is classless and I would rather see the Wings be bad than classless. I feel the same way about Bertuzzi as well, but he at least CAN make the team better. With Tootoo the team becomes worse and in danger of being classless. Would you have liked Claude on the team? Or Roy? No. So why would you be okay with that POS.

I say yes. Partly because my brother is a Stars fan and he hates that Det always signs his favorite players, he just got an Ott jersey a few years ago. The other reason is because I may have seen more Stars games than most people here and yes the guy plays dirty on occasion but I'd say that every time he hurts the team he does 2 good things to help.

Never liked him and he's done some dirty plays against us in the past. There's better and younger options out there.

Hmm. That almost makes me want him on the team.

Ott has some good qualities as a player, but he's just too big of a weasel for me to want him on the Wings. I don't like the way the guy plays the game.

Not much, considering that they combined for $7m and 22 goals last season.

Yep. Detroit needs another troll. That has been severely lacking since Malts retired. Bert can't be the only troll all on his own. Yes, opposing teams dislike Homer, but not because he is a pest.

yes. him or Chris Neil are the type of pesky mofo's I'd like on this team.

guy can score, is total b*ch at drawing penalties and taking the other team off its game. should I call that number which generates electric shocks in Kenny Holland's brain?

I'll take Ott, just the kind of gritty player I like. Gets under the other team's skin, isn't afraid to fight and hit, and has a bit of a scoring touch. He's young and teams hate to play against him.

I would rather have Moen or Neil
Or Tootoo because you wouldn't have to give up anybody to get him
