If we replace him with a more complete, multi-dimensional player then I'm all for it. I don't think he'll get amazing offers on the market so I think we have some time to play with. People know he's a small player with a one dimensional role on a talented roster. If I were a GM I would not expect his point production to keep up on a non-puck possession style team without amazing centers.

Does anyone want to predict how much he is gonna get on the open market? I think that GMs are gonna be idiots and actually give him somewhere in the neighborhood of 4.5 and 5 Million. I just get that feeling that someone is gonna go crazy. Would have never predicted the contracts from last year so we'll see what happens.

That is probably the safest prediction on any forum anywhere. Calgary signing Wideman for $5M-plus, and the number of teams below the cap floor, means crazy money is all but assured, again. I think it will take at least $4.5/yr to sign Huds, and Suter is going to get above $8/yr. And for the record I would have no problem signing Suter for $8-8.5.yr.

If Hudler was playing on a line with big tough guys, he would of had more points

Wonder which team is eyeing Hudler and will overpay him?

I have a feeling Huds will end up in the sunshine state.

Is it wrong of me to hope that some team offers him more money and he doesn't play that well? I just want to see him fall on his face for being so smug about his talents and the Wings holding him back.

Hudler has an offer on the table from the Canucks. Rangers and Habs are showing interest.

Heard a rumour that Nucks and Jets are interested. But it was from a supposed insider who hasn't seemed to get anything right today. So don't necessarily trust it but still a rumour

He's too small too slow. Wings are better off without him. Bring in someone who can skate and not be bumped off the puck.

Ansar now reports the Yotes are talking to Hudler. Can we just do a Yandle for Hudler deal and get it over with?
