xBflinker 29 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Right handed shot, has some size, could be a good pick-up for the bottom 6.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted June 30, 2012 (edited) That was yet another atrocious contract that Burke has handed out. Why hasn't he been fired yet? Right handed shot, has some size, could be a good pick-up for the bottom 6. Armstrong has a bad attitude and a fragile body to go along with his lack of production, and it's probably likely that he'll want more than the average team is willing to offer him for a third-line role. He was vastly overpaid by the Leafs. Edited June 30, 2012 by Crymson
xtrememachine1 795 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 He'll go to the Pens for cheap. He never wanted to leave, everybody there likes him, he'd fit right in with all the other cheap shot artists they have. I wouldn't want him with the Wings. Too slow, his shot is below average. cusimano_brothers 1,655 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 Is this the same Colby Armstrong who hid the fact he was concussed so he would keep his job? How did that work out?
paulwoodsfan 52 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 He did nothing for Toronto to warrant the idea he would be an upgrade to Detroit's bottom six. 1 LidsFan reacted to this

Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted June 30, 2012 No thanks to Colby. He'll go back to Pittsburgh and play with Crosby and try to restart his career would be my guess.
Bring Back The Bruise Bros 1,029 Report post Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Armstrong could replace Arron Asham in Pittsburgh's lineup next year. In other buyout news: *The Devils appear to be parting ways with Eric Boulton. NJ placed him on unconditional waivers with the purpose of buying him out. *The Panthers have placed Matt Bradley and Mike Santorelli on unconditional waivers with the intent of buying their contracts out. *The Stars have bought out Eric Godard. Didn't play a regular season game in the NHL last year. His career may be over. Edited July 1, 2012 by Bring Back The Bruise Bros
