Proof that Jay Feaster IS insane...
"He is one of the very best goal scorers in the NHL at even strength," said Flames general manager Jay Feaster.

Happy is obviously the heir apparent to Iginala when he hangs them up man! :tounge:

I like Hudler, but I'm not disappointed to see him go. He obviously only cares about money and not about where he plays or winning. Good luck with a team that fights to make the playoffs every year, while we slide in easily. Warm up our golf clubs for us.

Cya later Hudler!
Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

I would have been more pissed if Holland had done this then the Sammy signing.

My thoughts exactly!

.....Sammy signing still has me in a rage though, this just lessens the blow a tad

I knew he was gonna go, was just unsure as to where. Wow $4million a season nice Pay Check for him but seems a bit steep. We'll see what he can do in Western Canada!!

Didn't want him or Sammy on the team.

Holland basically replaces one turd with another (much older ) turd.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

When's he slated to turn 35? Roundabout then's when we can expect to have him back.

Happy was far from my favorite player but he had a knack to score goals in a quiet fashion. Hopefully Samuelsson can maintain the scoring slack and be good for around 20 goals at least which he is likely capable of.

I'm not upset Hudler left (it was expected and that's an expensive deal), but I don't really feel the need to celebrate about it either. While he had many faults that have been covered here already, he also had a knack for scoring goals. The Red Wings don't exactly have many players that fit that description on the roster. Obviously the addition of Samuelsson you hope will cover up some of that offensive production, but there's plenty of reason not to believe Sammy will accomplish anything close to 50 points with his recent history. Brunner is an unknown at the NHL level.

I don't want Hudler for four million, though for a team that scored nine goals in five playoff games, I'm not exactly thrilled either to see offense departing. Another goal-scoring top-six forward is still a necessity.

Thanks TeeMan
