Let's keep it on topic. This thread relates to Suter and indirectly to Parise. Please take everything else to PM's.
"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base. From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!
Total right now: $105.

Opposing D were shutting down Zetterberg and Datsyuk and no one else was able to step it up. Not Hudler, Not Flip, Not Bert, Not Franzen. That says a lot. We're talking about the Wings, more specifically our top-6. We have goal-scoring power; what we're really lacking, I think, is the other things that make a truly formidable top-6 truly formidable. Do I think we could use a sniper? Yes. But let's not kid ourselves - the reason the Wings couldn't score against the Preds goes way beyond the opp. D pressuring Datsyuk and Zetterberg.

Shea Weber flew to Minnesota, smashed Suter's face into his sliding glass door (twice) and convinced him to stay in Trashville so they could have several chances to lay into Tootoo next season.

lol wings sign suter long term and trade to nash for weber whom they then sign long term and trade for many many many picks.Another remote possibility: maybe a team is offering a sign and trade deal?

PAUL OSTBY
@SHEEHYHOCKEY
Client Ryan Suter plans on making a decision today.
If Suter announces today and it is Detroit, that will be my 4th of July fireworks. I can stay inside tonight and enjoy the AC. The kids will understand when they get older.

SUTER: "Philly."
HOLLAND: "Holms, how much for Giroux?"
HOLMGREN: "f*** you, Ken."
HOLLAND: "How about Suter?"

Too late to beg Lidstrom to comeback for one more season?
He's signing a 1 year deal with MIN, I hear he wants to play with Parise too.

Why do we think they're going to Minnesota? Can someone point me to some tweets or reports or blurbs or whatever from credible, unbiased sources? (Not doubting, just curious as to how things suddenly went from guarded optimism to "s***, it's obviously Minny."
Just the timing of it more than anything says Minnesota to me. We know Parise and Suter have kept in contact the past couple days. Just reading between the lines, seems like Suter is pulling the strings. Parise was sold on going to the Wild, but only if Suter did too and maybe he finally decided that he would.
The fact both will announce today says package deal. That certainly doesn't eliminate Detroit, but it doesn't look too promising either.

Go Wings every other team eat sh*t
This part really confirms your objectivity and makes me confident about Suter signing here.
Just cause you look like the gimp don't mean you play like the gimp!
