Money on the board: $40
Thanks for a great season, guys. You exceeded expectations and have given us something to look forward to as the long summer approaches.
And next year we get to start in October, like hockey is SUPPOSED to.

This opens the door for Ryan, Nash or Parise to end up in Philly.....not good.
I don't get what you mean. Jagr was a UFA, he wasn't in Philly's plans anyway so how does this change the situation?

He's won it all. If he wins it again, that's great, but if not, he's playing the game he loves, getting paid well and seeing the world. Who could ask for more?

I think this is simply a way for Dallas to sell tickets. No one's going to their games anymore.
I do. Well, two of them anyways.

I hadn't heard that Philly had zero interest in signing him back. UFA doesn't mean that he has to go to another team...they could have only been in the running for one of the other players mentioned, now they have the space (both cap and roster) to land multiple "big fish"
