Well, he's said he's going to make a hard push for Doan on the 9th. So that much we know.

He's an RFA, no chance...I bet Holland panics and overpays Quincey. Lame...
All I have to say about Holland and our off-season:
and finally
Holland is a damn good GM. period.

not sure how doan will help our defense but ok
dont forget we have joey mac to sweeten a trade deal
Doan won't come here. If he leaves Pheonix, it will be for a run at the cup. I'd say that's why he's waiting. To see who's the most appealing when the dust settles, as it has today.
Wings are too far off from a cup run to attract Doan.

If we get Yandle at some point then today was a blessing. Much more reasonable contract for a better defensemen that fits our needs better. I say do whatever it takes to get this guy we need him. Than next year get Weber and our D is seriously stacked.
Weber-Yandle
Kronwall-Ericsson
Smith-Quincey.........Damn!

You dream too small.
With just a few trades:
Weber - Suter
Chara - Yandle
Karlsson - Byfuglien .... damn straight!

LA won the Cup with Willie Mitchell on D every night.
Detroit's d isn't that bad.
It just looks even worse when you subtract Lidstrom and Stuart.
