You must be much smarter than the individual you are replying to. I say this because you respond to his post with "lol". His stupid comment doesn't warrant a real response, and your comment adds so much to the conversation. Thank you for posting.
While Nyquist won't be the "next Datsyuk" - I truly believe he's going to be great. He was a near-dominating force the times I saw him with Grand Rapids. It was easy to spot him anytime he was on the ice as he was clearly head and shoulders above his competition in terms of skill.
I expect big things out of him and feel like he should be as untouchable as Smith in terms of trade bait.

If there are rumors of a big trade, you can be sure that the usual suspects (TSN et al) will be all over it. If you're hearing a rumor only from the likes of hockeyy insiderr and his re-tweeters, then it's almost certainly BS.

To all the people all of the sudden talking about Fil + Nyquist + picks for Yandle (which seems to be most people in this thread now)...did you actually hear this from any source at all? Or are you just basing the whole thing off of this sarcastic post from earlier in this thread:
I am hearing Yandle to the Wings for Filppula, Nyquist and a 1st. I will have more as soon as I confirm with my sources Bert and Ernie. More to come..stay tuned...

the Kukla's Korner talks about Flip and Smith for Yandle....if Kenny does that i'm not watching hockey next year. or if it's Flip and Nyquist. Franzen and Tatar or keep your precious Yandle. not worth Flip and one of our top 2 prospects at all.
Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.
