Well, since it's the offseason and we're all presently a bit bored, I figured we ought to turn to an always-fun topic: hits! Post one of your favorites. Please don't post more than one, as we're likely to get major overlap otherwise.

Here's one of my favorites:

I love how you can actually hear the "bump" as they come together... and Morrow, despite being the hitter, gets propelled a few feet backward from the hit.

Sutton's hit on Leopold was a beauty.

You may not like tough hockey, but it's winning hockey.

"I assure you the hits along the boards he(Aaron Downey) constantly threw SEVERAL TIMES EVERY SHIFT were far more damaging hits that what Kronwall throws."

I don't have the videos cause I'm on the phone but I'd say some of my favorites are...

Kronwall on Havlat
Konstantinov on flyer? Forget his name 97 finals
Tucker on Kapanen.. Flyers vs leafs
Stevens on kariya... Monster hit but my favorite part is kariya coming back and burying the clapper shelf...

Sorry I picked more then one but I didn't post the videos haha

I know someone put a "Best Of" for Scott Stevens, but this hit in particular has always stood above the rest in my opinion.

Hell, Babs was coaching Kariya and even Rafalski gets a mention :)

Scott Stevens hitting Paul Kariya is like hitting a Geo Metro with a Mack truck...

The ultimate hit on the ultimate douchebag...

This makes me sad... What could have been...

it's really crazy to think that if it weren't for such tragic events, our D core for YEARS could have been Lidstrom, Konstantinov, Fischer and Chelios...

All I have to say about Holland and our off-season:

Here in this thread

Here in this one as well

Here in this one too

and finally

Here

Holland is a damn good GM. period.

I know man, such a loss.

New Jersey had Scott Stevens, Philly had Lindros, St. Louis had Pronger, and we had the one guy who intimidated all 3 of them...
