This makes me sad... What could have been...

it's really crazy to think that if it weren't for such tragic events, our D core for YEARS could have been Lidstrom, Konstantinov, Fischer and Chelios...

Chances are, that if Vladdy hadn't been injured, we wouldn't have drafted Fish. But then again, we do have a thing about drafting defense in the first round, so I could be wrong. Either way, it sucks to lose two guys like that. We should get a compensatory pick.

Sutton's hit on Leopold was a beauty.

If you drop the 's' off of the https, it will embed the video instead of the link. You did that from a mobile device?

I've always enjoyed this for some reason or another.

Gotta say one of my favs is Kronwall on Clowe just because of all Clowe's tough talk before the game. Ask and ye shall receive.

Pav's helmetless hit on Chara.

also December 21,2011 Kronwall leveling Kesler, love to see a Canuck get kronwalled and love to see Kesler take a penalty afterwards.

This countdown is amazing, as are some of the comments from opposing fans...

"Why the f*ck do forwards keep their heads down when hes on the ice?!?! If I was playing against his line, fk scoring, my priority is to come out of that shift with my legs and arms."

My favorite ever was Stevens on Kariya. 2nd favorite was in the 2002 playoffs with Pronger blowing his knee out trying to hit Yzerman lol.
Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

Wow... Regardless of the people and your feelings towards them, the results of both those hits... Wow... You're sadistic...

All I have to say about Holland and our off-season:

I can't quite say it's my favorite hit, but the picture of this hit is one of my favorites, if for nothing else than the facial expressions of everyone involved. Robert Lang getting leveled by Brad Stuart when he was on the Flames.

Raising another Red Wings Fan!

Money on the board-SCP 2013
I'm going with the 22 special. 2 bucks for every 22 goal. 2 bucks for every 22 fight
5 bucks for every series win....another 5 for every shut out! LETS GO RED WINGS!!
ADDENDUM: Since it looks like Toots may not reinserted in the series, I would like to offer Bert his money on the board. So, 2 bucks for every Bert fight, 2 bucks for every Bert goal AND since OT has been a pattern, I want to add 5 bucks for any RED WINGS OT winner. LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

Huge fan of Webb. Got to see him with the Muskegon for a year back in 95-96. Also had Steve MacIntyre as well.

He played in Lexington for a couple years after, he was a fan favorite for sure.

Call me a hockey n00b or whatever (I'm not), but Giroux on Crosby came to mind first. It's about more than just the hit itself - it's a beautiful example of how a hit can set the tone for a game, or change its complexion, etc.
