Let's take a look at the 27 year old home-state boy:

+Along with Datsyuk, one of the best two way players in the game today
+Provides team with aggression and a get-in-your-face mentality
+Proven 70+ pt scorer when healthy
+If on the Wings roster, he could be Datsyuk's winger if you want him as a sniper or center his own line while Zetterberg can play with Datsyuk on the top line
+Excellent penalty killer

Some negatives:

-Subpar 2011-12 campaign
-Not a great reputation around the league with his diving
-Sometimes inconsistent goal scoring

His contract extends to 2015-16 with 5 million per.

I don't mind him but he's going through the injury bug lately it seems. Think his value is down but no way he's traded. Helm surely would be wanted in some sort of return package for him.

His diving bothers me a lot. I'd give them one good prospect

They'd likely want too much but I would love to have kesler here.. He's the only player on the nucks I actually like.

They'd probly want at least something like Filp along with helm/nyq/smith and a 1st.. Especially to go to another same conference contender.

I could see us trying to sign him if he his UFA come 2016 tho..

          1. When your moves are so amazing and beyond reason, the only way to describe them is "datsyukian."
