Good for him. Shows you how far salary inflation has gone though. This means that players like Hall and Eberle would be worth 6.5+. That's more than Zetterberg and almost as much as Datsyuk. Not that I'm complaining...it shows that the league is doing well.

It's funny how Rutherford is able to hand out these contracts (Semin, Skinner, Ruutu, and Staal) while Karmanos asks for a 24% rollback in salaries. They're already spending $7 million more than last year.
