shoe 165 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 He is all painted up I like it, looking forward to seeing how he performs in Red and white vs blue and white http://redwings.nhl.com/club/gallery.htm?id=31030
MabusIncarnate 5,344 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 It kinda looks like the cartoon car from Roger Rabbit. I like it though, nice design.
Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 Was hoping for a red smoke-monster fighting a ginormous mechanical octopus piloted by a cigar-smoking, laser-eyed Larry Murphy. This offseason is an endless succession of bitter disappointments. *sigh* 7 Hockey13Playa, Ally, puckloo39 and 4 others reacted to this
Gordie Howe hat trick 110 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 I wonder if he will still have the retired numbers on it somewhere, I think that was a great touch.
13dangledangle 965 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 Wasn't that Jimmy? Love the look of this for sure who framed roger rabbit was awesome! hopefully it does him better then the last one did...
Seraph 240 Report post Posted August 28, 2012 I love this mask. This beats Jimmy's masks in my opinion. I like the fact that it is its own design and isn't trying to represent anything particular. Gives his look its own personality, if that makes any sense. Great work.
Gordie Howe hat trick 110 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 Yeah you are right it was Jimmy, I just skipped over the title of the topic. My bad.
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 freaking awesome, hopefully his performance will be equal to the mask design. Wonder how much money the designer received for that. Way to go Monster
JasonNewEra 84 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 Meh, not impressive. I wish someone would do something 'classy' for once. All these cartoony masks are boring.

The Greek 323 Report post Posted August 29, 2012 I like the skyline in the top corner. As a goalie myself I always thought it would be cool to do a hodgepodge of different detroit landmarks like the people mover, rencen, spirit of detroit, joe lous fist, maybe throw a 313 in there, and of course: robocop. Give me all of that in all red on a white background with a red cage. I think it would be pretty gangster, in a good way.

And maybe the face of the guy who's catch phrase was "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Please define "classy" for a tendy mask, just for future reference. Maybe he should've included some art pieces from the DIA? On a more serious side, it's a beaut and I love it. Can't go wrong with the hot rod, and I love the license plate.

I don't know, it's always the city or a car or something it seems. I would just like something a little more realistic I guess. You mean something like Cheveldae's and Vernon's? If so, I agree with you. Hmm, maybe? Or even something a little more active just not a cartoon car. *shrugs*
TheXym 2,606 Report post Posted August 30, 2012 I always liked Vernon's mask. Cheveldae's was decent, but I preferred Vernon's. It was kind of classy.
