To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

Unable to get a team in Chicago, Norris bought Olympia Stadium and the Falcons franchise in 1933. He immediately changed the team name to the Red Wings and began building a champion.
With Jack Adams as coach, Norris purchased Scotty Bowman and Syd Howe from the St. Louis Eagles.
The Red Wings won the Stanley Cup in 1936 and were the first American franchise to repeat as champions in 1937.
Um... am I reading this wrong, or was Scotty Bowman purchased when he was 3 years old?
My money on the board pledge:
$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.
An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.
An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.
$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

I had no idea. I think it's kind of odd that we have two 'Scotty Bowmans' in Wings' history. Wonder if there is any relation?
