Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 Hard to believe that tomorrow is the one year anniversary of that awful day. RIP to Rusty Salei, Coach Brad McCrimmon, Stefan Liv, and all others who lost their lives on September 7, 2011. rrasco 1,312 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 I still think about this quite a bit. I'll never forget that day as we all waited, hoped, and prayed Rusty somehow wasn't on that plane.

Miss Wing Queen 154 Report post Posted September 6, 2012 I've been thinking a lot about the anniversary too, and hope some healing has come to the families of the team. I will also be proudly wearing my "Love for Lokomotiv" bracelet tomorrow in remembrance. I hope that if a lockout forces any of our guys or any other players to the KHL that they remain safe in their travels.
ChelisChick 174 Report post Posted September 7, 2012 I know the Love For Lokomotiv Twitter said yesterday for everyone to keep the wives and families in your thoughts as they traveled to Russia for a memorial ceremony. I have 2 bracelets that I will be wearing tomorrow.
Guest irishock Report post Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) I remember on that day NHL.COM's front headline was Cindy's interview about his condition and crap, tagged with a bolded "must watch"; the plane crash news was on the 2nd panel.
