That's that, then. If Ryan doesn't want to be traded and the Ducks don't want to trade him, then he won't be moved.

You know what, Crymson, you can just get the hell out of here with your reliable sources and logical conclusions.

So, we're dogpiling on the goalie sammy Hudler the defense the refs league bias against us coaching now? Ok.

Babcock is lazy and he sucks!

It's a request that Ryan has now called, "kind of stupid."

"Mess up tomorrow, don't mess up now".

I'm not sure why you think this article laid things to rest.

Ryan regretted his comments, which is no surprise, but it doesn't make the relationship with the GM sound rosy or that things have been settled.

From the article (emphasis mine):

But while he has good feelings about working further with Boudreau, Ryan said he still isn't sure where he stands in his relationship with the Ducks overall.

"I have no idea," he said. "There's certainly no bad air between the coaching staff and I. The training staff's been great. As far as I'm concerned, I'm a Duck and I'm coming to camp and will be ready to compete.

"I can't speak for the front office. I have no idea. Hopefully it's something they can clear up with you. As far as I'm concerned, I'm here and I'm ready to go."

I'd still be surprised if the Ducks traded him, but it hardly sounds like things are back to normal.

This whole thing has been way overblown, IMHO.

I still think Ryan CAN/COULD be traded given the right return the Ducks would receive. Might also depend on how the Ducks do if there is a season coming up.
