he's been shooting a lot more the past couple seasons but he definitely has a "pass first" mentality.

1. When your moves are so amazing and beyond reason, the only way to describe them is "datsyukian."

Money on the board-SCP 2013
I'm going with the 22 special. 2 bucks for every 22 goal. 2 bucks for every 22 fight
5 bucks for every series win....another 5 for every shut out! LETS GO RED WINGS!!
ADDENDUM: Since it looks like Toots may not reinserted in the series, I would like to offer Bert his money on the board. So, 2 bucks for every Bert fight, 2 bucks for every Bert goal AND since OT has been a pattern, I want to add 5 bucks for any RED WINGS OT winner. LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

Of the four, I would take Z. His backhand is sick and he scored goals at a nice clip until his game evolved more as a center.

But I'd have to go with Z. He's clutch.
I don't know if the stat is still true but since the lockout didn't he have the most playoff goals?

I don't think any of them are really natural goal-scorers. Franzen could probably get classified as that because all he does is score goals, unlike the other three. The Red Wings haven't had a legitimate sniper since Hossa.

I agree with all of this.

Pretty hard to argue with that. On a side note, Franzen is lazy and would score more if he'd hit the net more than 10% of the time.I voted Datsyuk. Here's my logic - disregarding the way these players choose to play the game, if you told all four of them to simply go try their hardest to personally score a goal... I think Datsyuk has the best moves and hands to make that happen. His goal totals are lower than what they could be only because he chooses to be more of a setup man.
In short, Datsyuk got the skill.

Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.
Tootoo needs a partner in crime that plays like him on the other side of Helm. Oh hey, we have Mitchell Callahan. Problem solved.

That's exactly what i was thinking when i saw the poll cause Brunner can bulge the twine. I hope this deal gets done soon so we can see him and Z in the NHL together. what was it...1 goal, 2 assists for Z and 2 goals for Brunner? Hope the chemistry gets built up and it carries to the Wings. It would have been interesting to see the responses had Brunner been included in the list. Personally, I'm not holding my breath on a smooth transition for him into NA style hockey, but you cannot deny that he is a pure goal-scorer based on how he is lighting it up overseas. I hear his shot is reminiscent of Brett Hull, but I haven't seen him play yet...

Tied with BriereAs was mentioned, none are pure goal scorers.
