One of the Griffins biggest rivals. Always feisty high scoring games. I'll see you all in the usual place at 19:05EST for some AHL action amongst the lockout doom and gloom...if I can stay awake for once!

The AHL Live feed is using the Rochester home announcers. They're more than a little homerish, like when Pearce made a great pad save and the announcers insisted it went off the post. Never mind that there was no post sound and the replay clearly showed the puck hitting the pad.

Ferraro's goal was lovely, though. Paetsche made it soar from the blue line and Ferraro tipped it in. Same style as a Holmstrom goal from Lidstrom!

Callahan and/or Grant scored a late goal to make it 4-3, but the extra skater and empty net weren't enough to force overtime. *sigh*
