Howard's rebound control was atrocious up until a couple years ago and then he broke out and look at him now. Definitely see a future just as bright for Mrazek. His quickness is phenominal as well from all the times i saw him play.I saw him on Sunday, he looked great. He seems to have a little trouble with rebound control, but that's something he can learn over time. He has great instincts, and looks really comfortable in there.
Wings need some Ryan Pulock in the 1st round, a goal scorer in the 2nd round and rounds 3-7 all guys 6'4 or bigger. Please sign Dekeyser to play with Smith. <--Dekeyser signed, Paired next year. Mark your calendars.
Tootoo needs a partner in crime that plays like him on the other side of Helm. Oh hey, we have Mitchell Callahan. Problem solved.
Cleary....

Mrazek is so much better than Howard was as a Griff and is also much younger than Howard was when he became pro. I've watched a lot of him since being drafted and this kid is special.Howard's rebound control was atrocious up until a couple years ago and then he broke out and look at him now. This is exactly what i was thinking too. Get him some play time in Gr, and when he gets into the NHL with the great goal coaches we have this guy is going to be awesome. (hopefully)
-I'll pledge $5 for a series win. - $5 (Anaheim)
-Extra $10 for a sweep.
-Extra $2 for every RW shutout.
-Extra $2 for every RW SHG. - $2 (Abby)
-Extra $2 for every multi-goal game anyone has. - $4 (Franzen, Z)
-Extra $2 for Tootoo/ Bertuzzi fight.
-Total so far $11

He played well tonight. I was at the game and thought he was solid. Hopefully he can keep it rolling.
Is he better than Howard?

Is he better than Howard?
It's still too early to say, but he's definitely shown mad potential

No. I still dont think Howard is at the best he can be and Mrazek currently is well behind him. Mrazek's start is very very encouraging but lets see how he holds up over a whole season. That will show if hes progressing or if this is jsut one of the hot streaks any goalie can get on. Ill give him though that Mrazek is better now than Howard was at that age. Barring any development setback's I wouldn't be surprised to see him pushing Howard in 3-4 seasons.

Mrazek has only been a Griffin for 4 games, let's give it some time there. Also, Mrazek turned pro at about 11 months younger than Howard was when he turned pro. Not that much of a difference... but yeah, from what I've heard and the little I've seen of him (some WJC action last year), Mrazek has exciting potential.

He was their main goalie (WJC) and was pretty amazing.
