I'm sure he'll be hearing "Tinky Winky" from the opposing teams' agitators for the rest of his career.

It's nice to see how far along Riley Sheahan has come along!

I'm glad the team didnt decide to release him for this incident..

Hes become a much better player than i expected him to be!

Pavel datsyuk is the best player in the world because he snatches the puck from unsuspecting players and  follows it up by the simultaneous undressing of the defence pairing. The goalie then gives up, and flops like a fish. The end result is a calm skate back to his bench  where he can bask in the praise of his multiple girlfriends from the motherland.

I really like what he had to say about the whole incident. He's taken a mature approach and obviously given it a lot of thought which makes me feel like he's not likely to make such a stupid decision again.
Good on him for taking steps to improve his image.

Glad he didn't get released as well.

The jurco, sheahan, Tatar line looked great yesterday!

He is doing well.  We all do something stupid when we're young that we wish we could take back.

I just need to find something to call him other than "Tink".

Hell, I still do stupid things I wish I could take back.  Life is full of experiences, good and bad.

Most all the guys I played hockey with had driven legally drunk at some point in their career.  As far as Sheahan all I needed to know was: “I haven’t drank since, and I’ll try to keep it that way for however long I feel like I should,” he said. “Maybe sometime down the road I can venture back into it, but as of now, I don’t feel like there’s any room for it.”

"It's been six years since we won the Cup. That's too long." -Nick Lidstrom

"my message is simple: The next time anyone runs any of our guys in a way that shouldn't be done, then a message will be sent. I'm not going to go out and run your skill guys, your superstars. I'm going to go right to the guy (who did it), and fair justice is fair justice." -Downey
