Since we have nothing else to talk about...how about this hit that led to Jenner's ejection and possible suspension? I think it was pretty late. The puck was across the ice already, on an international rink no less.

He'll probably be suspended for the first 2 games of the tourney is my guess

Well the guy is a repeat offender, it was an exihibition game so I think the suspensions is warranted.

Late hit for sure, but 3 games seems like a lot to me. The reason it was three was the injury.

Punish the action, not the result. It was a late hit, no doubt. Penalize him for the act of hitting someone late, not the result of him getting hurt, which he didn't have control over.

I agree, but it seems that is SOP for most leagues.

While I fully agree with you, you can't forget some other facts:

- exihibition game
- repeat offender

I am sure if this would have been the first time, he would have gotten away with a minor maybe(!) major penalty but thats about it.
