Well I'm not going to argue on what our mods told us not to, so I'll just leave it at that.
The mods just want us not to point fingers at the commissioner or NHLPA head. If you have proof if any of the people involved do not care about the season being cancelled, I would like to read that. That would be very discouraging.

The mods don't want the incessant arguing over as to who is at fault for this whole mess of a CBA negotiation, including taking little pot shots at either side during a discussion of the cba. It has been beaten to death. Arguing over who cares or doesn't care about canceling the season is essentially the same thing.
I'm fairly certain there isn't going to be any reputable source establishing people saying they do not care if the season is cancelled.
As vladdy pointed out in one of her previous warnings, the discussion should be about details of the cba. It can also include updates from reputable sources, like Dreger or Lebrun's twitter.

"Ron McLean just stated on XM Radio NHL Channel's HNIC show that the deal is done and they are just working out minutiae now. He said this not as breaking news but as a measure to calm everyone down and to reassure listeners that there will be hockey to watch this year.
They are bringing on a parade of HNIC personalities stating that things are basically done. Jim Hughson just stated that Bettman and Fehr are standing at the finishing line and can't decide if they want to let the other guy break the ribbon."

NHLPA conditions for the next CBA to be 10 year. 1-option out after 7 years. 2-minimum salary at $800 000 at year 9. Still no deal on that.
More and more issues seem to pop up...

Honestly at this point I don't believe much of anything except for the most basic tweets about when and if they're actually meeting. There's been so much misinformation out there as everyone tries to break news. I'm tired from riding all the highs and lows.
I have a feeling it'll come out of nowhere if a deal is done or the season is cancelled.

Agreed. After how no one knew about the mediator in the bargaining room until Bettman said it, no one has a clue of what's really going on. I suppose only the 10 or so players, Fehr, Bettman, rest of NHL officials know exactly what the real problems are. And I remember the 2005 NHL lockout unexpectedly ending at midnight. The 2011 NBA lockout ended at like 3 AM ET, few hours after ESPN twitter sources reported that "not much" was going on.

HFBoards guy says it wasn't sarcasm. MacLean was serious. They did argue for over 20 minutes over how the league towels were unacceptable. Not sure if it was brought up recently or a while ago. If it was recently, then it just seems like more and more issues pile up after one another.

Believed #NHLPA has already received 75% needed votes to file disclaimer to #NHL once again. As of now, no internal date has been set.
No shock here players have authorized - now need to seriously consider disclaiming if not close by around Monday
sounds like Monday is a key date.
