Agreed. After how no one knew about the mediator in the bargaining room until Bettman said it, no one has a clue of what's really going on. I suppose only the 10 or so players, Fehr, Bettman, rest of NHL officials know exactly what the real problems are. And I remember the 2005 NHL lockout unexpectedly ending at midnight. The 2011 NBA lockout ended at like 3 AM ET, few hours after ESPN twitter sources reported that "not much" was going on.
