Bettman apologizes for the lockout. "I'm sorry."
NHL and NHLPA still haven't completed drafting CBA Memo of Understanding. Haven't signed off yet on trade deadline, free agency for this yr
Asked Bettman about his future during the newser and he made it clear he's not planning on going anywhere...

He read letters, the blogs, the tweets.....LOL. He better have someone else present the cup this year. I think we will have a new standard for booing.

I'll guess that Bill Daly presents the cup.

He says: "...I'm sorry". He sure is.
Just waiting for word word when he's exiled to Elba.
He obviously didn't name names, but Mr. LeBrun did suggest that the numbers of the "overwhelming backing" of Uncle Gary are lessening.

I think we all have a new incentive for Detroit to win the Cup on home ice this year just to see what the fans will do to Bettman.

Give him an ovation so he can consider retirement. He'll come back if you boo him.

His ego would do too much with an ovation.

I'd rather it be St. Helena. But then there's that whole submarine rescue thing.

Re: booing Bettman,
Ha. Yeah. Sure. That'll show him.
No. He deserves something special. I'm thinking 30 flying octopi raining down on him all at once.

I could never stand Bettman. I will admit though, after all this, I sort of feel bad for the guy now.

as crazy as this sounds, I actually miss mocking Pierre on the NBC broadcasts lol

Honestly, I don't have much of a problem with Pierre. When he isn't slobbering over Sid, he can actually be a pretty decent commentator.

Bah, all of those NBC clowns have an anti Wings bias. I've noted several occasions where they just couldn't hide their negativity towards Detroit. For example, you may have heard something like "Crosby expertly weaves through traffic..." followed by "Datsyuk *slithers* through traffic." Slithers... really? Just one example I remember off the top of my head. An isolated incident may be something to shrug off, but there is a pattern with those bozos.
