Normally, I'm not a violent person....  But all bets are off is someone near me starts blowing one of those things!  I'm glad he's our "little ball of hate" now, but the whistles are lame, and annoying.

Meh.  I don't want the whistles either but I'm not going to get my hopes up.  If we can't stop ourselves from booing Hossa or chanting Crosby sucks then I really don't know if we can prevent ourselves from hitting the whistle.

Tutu will challenge the theory of "but you will like him once he's a Red Wing," in my case.  I can't imagine ever liking him.     

 

I hope he knows how lucky he is to be a Wing, and acts accordingly.  If he smashes a few people out there who try to hurt one of our guys, then I might approve.  I said, "if".  Don't want to see him start something and then run away to hide behind an official... crap like that.  We shall see, I guess. 

 

It's too much to ask of Tutu to step up this much, but I miss Mac and the days when other players looked over their shoulders when he was on the ice, and they knew they'd done wrong. 

 

PS:  screw the whistle idiocy, along with ever putting cheerleaders at the Joe.  Please.  No.

I'm not a big fan of the whistles. I'd rather the fans go crazy when he makes a big hit, scores, fights, etc. than blow the whistles. When I've been to games in Nashville, the whistles weren't louder than cheering, but they were just loud enough to be annoying.

Regardless of whether Tootoo becomes a fan favorite or not, those whistles are beyond f****** annoying and I seriously hope that no douchebags try to bring the whistle s*** to the Joe.

 

Don't worry though... I plan to uphold the pledge I made when the Wings first signed Tootoo.  For the games that I attend, anyone within arms distance of me that blows one of those retarded whistles is getting punched in the teeth.

SEE?! It goes right back to my statement about not ever specifying that you're a female!

...Although I immediately thought the same thing and lol'd for like 10 minutes straight picturing them catching THAT on FSD...it would be the new "Red Wing Distraction Technique (RWDT)" like in beer pong. Instant kill.
