Yeah that's not too bad, but regardless of what his nickname is I'll be screaming "You've been...Brunder Struck!" in my best AC/DC voice every time he nets one.

Does he have a habit of bopping field mice on the head?

How about B. Rabbit, Brunny Rabbit, or Little Brunny Foo Foo? On second thought it doesn't seem so fearsome after I type it.

God knows what they do in Switzerland for fun, but I generally don't trust those of Germanic persuasion and have no reason to believe they wouldn't bop defenseless field mice, if their insatiable blood lust temporarily subsided long enough to engage in leisure activity.

Thumbs up to:

The Omen

Brunnerstruck

Bruns of Steel

Love the Brunny FooFoo, but not so much for hockey unless he turns onto a GOON!

The surname Bruner is of German origin and is a variant spelling of Brunner, which is a topographic name for someone who lived beside a spring or well.

Hmmmm...I am still lost for ideas....

I'm in favour of just calling him brunner, let murph or mickey come up with some ridiculous homer name, they are way better at this than us. Only difference is they don't realize how ridiculous they sound. lol

I'm in for ODB or Swiss Beats! Swiss Beats would also allow us to call him Swiss Miss when he...you know.

Total Brunner

Can sound like total bummer if he sucks, or be called Total for short if he starts scoring a lot. It works whichever way it falls.

Not to mention TB is a pretty rough abbreviation if he sucks also.
