Surprised Kovalev is trying to return.  He's been irrelevant the last couple of years, wherever he's been.

-Colin White is in St. Louis for the Blues' training camp after signing a tryout contract.
-Jim Vandermeer has signed a one year deal with Vancouver.
-Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond (PL3) has signed a one year, two-way contract with Anaheim.
