That may help a bit... but probably nowhere near enough.

I love that people were giving me endless s*** a couple years ago when I said the Blues were shaping up to be a real good team. Lot of people changing their tune now; lot of people unwilling to look at reality and critically think about how things will look in the long run before. And a lot of those same people not surprisingly are the ones who didn't think the Wings had anything to worry about. Optimism is noble though oftentimes inaccurate, pessimism is just unfortunate, but realism is something worth embracing.

Datsyuk is the only one playing tonight besides Howard.

Can we ditch this loser now?  Glad we traded for him... 

 

You mean you aren't happy that we traded a 1st round draft pick (#19 overall) for him? Then, instead of letting him sign with someone else and getting a 1st/3rd in return for him, we re-signed him for $3.7M for the next two years?

 

I would have rather traded the 1st round pick for Steve Downie, whom Tampa traded to Colorado for Quincey, then we sent the 1st to Tampa for Quincey....I never defended this guy and he looks like garbage...
