Howard was great on the odd man rushes last year

It was Cleary and Smith's mistakes that led to that goal.

I concur. It's a double edged sword.

Kronwall apparently hasn't hit many people during the lockout....that was less than impressive.

That's how most streams are in my experience.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

quincey and smith looked bad there. Is it too much to ask for a clutch save from jimmy? he hasn't had too much work tonight we could use a bail out here and there.

Smith got turned inside out too...   lets not put all the blame on quincey here... he's been terrible, sure, but come on.

Agreed. So far Lashoff has out performed Quincey in 1 game than all the games Q played since he came back.

I think we should be more concerned about giving up yet another breakaway..

to each their own though..

Well, he's had like 4 against him this season, and he hasn't stopped any of them.  His job is to make those crucial saves at key moments, like this one.

I know he gets paid like a mediocre goalie, but this team isn't good enough anymore for a mediocre goalie.  He has to be better.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

i blame the pairing of quincey and smith on that personally. quincey is not going to take up smith's mistakes, and vice-versa. smith needs a more stay at home pairing. he needs to have the freedom to run into the play, it's his specialty. granted we know he's going to make mistakes, we should also prepare for those mistakes.

The goal scorer was Smith's guy, not Quincey's.

Smith's been caught flat-footed a couple of times. He needs to work on that.

As I said just a minute or two ago as well....  I dont think he played at all during the lockout.. might just take him some time to get used to the game speed again, he was pretty good in those situations last year for the most part.

Quincey gave up way too much space there and allowed the feed ......

the PC stream is not though. Don't understand as it should be coming form the same source.

So hand pass off a faceoff is a penalty but a hand pass not off a faceoff isn't? Lol.

I think Smith might be a little cobwebby from that hit in the first. He seems a bit out of it.

You gotta be the QB to win the MVP baby! You can't be the punter.
