So when I left the game the Wings were up 2-0.  Then got home just in time to see the shootout.

anyone got a recap of how they blew it?

That's how you make a name for yourself. Porn-level sickness shootout goal on national TV.

Better than the opener. Still work to be done, but I think that shift for the Datsyuk goal was the first step in the right direction. Now if they can just turn the suck knob down on the special teams they might be in business.
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

We decided we wanted to play with four people on the ice tonight.

Penalties in the third and Kyle Quincey namely. I'm not just piling on either -- Quincey and Smith were really rough together.

Quincey, Smith, and a ton of consecutive penalties by various players.

Our PK is a disaster.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Datsyuk-Brunner-Bertuzzi will be a thing of beauty in the shootout.

What the hell are they reviewing here?!?!

Most likely the forward motion of the puck. Not a big deal, but it is fair.

Win #1 in the books. Go Wings!

My musings :

1, Wayyyy better effort up front from our forwards

2.. Our D is shockingly slow

3. Our special teams are special thats for sure..maybe short bus special..or you can have the closest parking spot to the door special

4. Cleary is a plug and Babs just forces him on us.

Good to get 2 points on the board

LGW after 1 loss is irrational, after a few in a row it becomes quite comical, 22 playoff appearances in a row and 4 cups in that time and still going strong. Relaxxxxx !!
