Trade Filpulla and Nyquist for Coburn, and Simmonds,

I like all the talk about Wimnepeg giving us their best young guns for Nyquist and picks. People act like Nyquist is Gretzky and we are just deciding when to unleash him.

Nyquist is on pace with 7 points in 19 games to have a Datsyuk type career. So he's pretty much a lock for the hall of fame.

Exactly!! I want to see him as much as the next guy, but right now, he's the Crash Davis of the Red Wings. Smith turned out to be Laloosh.

(of course Doug Murray is a UFA in San Jose, if somehow Holland could land that titanic human being, I would let Huskins go....but if not Huskins has done a solid job thus far, I would re-sign him to a #6/7 role)

edit: My subractions are Franzen/Filppula/Sammy/Cola/Emmerton/Kindl/Cleary/Mursak/White/Quincey via trades/UFA/RFA or buyouts...
