Bad turnover by datsyuk in the neutral zone, and forwards caught sleeping in the back check. Anyone that blames Howard on that clearly doesn't know that players on a 2 on 1 force that rebound on every goalie that's ever played hockey

Can't blame the defense so far this season. We've been shutout once, scored only 1 goal twice, and it's looking like we'll have to fight not to get shutout tonight as well.
Defense has been good enough apart from the first game, but if we can't score we can't win.

They call hooking 100 feet away from the play, but don't see a high stick.

This. The offense is the real problem with this team, but people will continue to blame the defense..

These forwards lines only worked in the game against the Wild... fact of the matter is we are having too much trouble scoring goals... time to shake up the lines in the 3rd to generate some energy i think... I would like to see Brunner with Pavs and Bert.

I should add, it would be nice if they shot more pucks at the opposing net; they have a better chance of going in that way.
