Not surprising given their defense.

I haven't been following them that closely but they never really got anyone to replace the loss of Pronger or Carle did they?

Kurtis Foster if that even counts. Philly about did what we did in replacing their two top defensemen.

I doubt that, we have more defensive depth albeit no stars, but we definitely have better D than philly

Seems like the Wild are already getting their money's worth out of Parise.

Suter, not so much.

quincey for suter, straight up. make it happen kenny!!

kidding(obviously)....

did anyone see the bruins/devils shootout though? seguin scored, a fan threw something across the ice and even though it didn't effect the shootout, refs made him shoot again so he scored an even nicer goal.... haha love that kid, he's good.

Datsyukian

Dat·syu·ki·an [dat-soo-kee-uh n]

adjective

          1. When your moves are so amazing and beyond reason, the only way to describe them is "datsyukian."

It's similar in reference to how they addressed their defensive losses, they lost Pronger Carle, replaced them with Schenn Foster which both are a downgrade.

We lost Lidstrom Stuart and replaced them with Quincey Colaiacovo, both are also a downgrade.

I do agree that overall our defense is better, but neither team replaced their top D with other top D players.

Lashoff looks very promising, while Smith is promosing but seems to have some jitters. Our problem is there is NO ONE to replace Lidstrom, and not very many quality d-men out there so we did what we could given what we had

Bull.

You lose Rafalski, Stuart, Lidstrom, you bring in a heavy (et al.)

General manage like a champion, Ken. Earn Barbie's love. No excuses.

Ken saved so much cap space over the past few years thinking that the cap would go as far as under 60 mil, and then boom Gary pulls the trigger on 64.3. Our poor executive vice president and general manager can't catch a break.

Oilers 2-2 SJ

You know SJ will be in the playoffs, and the Oilers might be our enemy until the final day of the season in terms of clinching a playoff spot.

Boy o Boy Scott is an absolute monster, Thornton is as tough as they come but  Scott really made quick work.  With all the heavies in the East I still can't understand why the Predators aren't dressing McGrattan every night, the guy literally has no one (maybe! Parros) having a chance against him right now. We really should pick him up.

San Jose still perfect unbelievable :scared:

Also what happened to the Rangers their team is overloaded right now ?
