Think for yourself. Question authority. Throughout human history as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are or where we are going in this ocean of chance, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open mindedness, chaotic, confused vulnerability to inform yourself.

55 is no number one dman. I miss having a pp that could hold thef****** line. we will need to trade for a true number one because kronner isn't cutting it. he looks worse every game.
Who the hell would trade us a number one?
Cleary, Kindl and a 2nd for Doughty? How about for Karlsson?

Nobody. Would have to include Dats or Z. Totally defeating the purpose.

We have better assets than that. Doesn't have to be a legit number one but I mean another top pairing guy.

Five goals against the best defensive team in the league, one against Steve Mason and Columbus.
I think that's the type of season we are looking at from the Red Wings. An inconsistent, mediocre team. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Howard will carry them to some wins, but the rest of the group is largely a bunch of passengers. Time to get Nyquist up immediately. He is being wasted in the minors and this isn't a championship calibre team in Detroit, so they can't pull that excuse out.

What assets? Nyquist is the only one I'd want if I was another GM.
Maybe Smith, but then we'd be getting rid of another defenseman to get a defenseman. Makes no sense.

Tis the season for all the NHL to rejoice. The Wings are no longer the standard bearers. Could it be that we have a few very bad years ahead of us so that we can rebuild? My friends, welcome to NHL mortality.

Kindle, Cleary, Emmerton to the Flames for Boumeester, Flames are at the bottom of the League and JB has a big cap hit of over 6 mil per year.
